Bio-Hire Certification
The BioHIRE certificate focuses on soft skills needed to succeed in life sciences as well as computer and Work Keys skills.  HIRE is an engaging and fun educational training program which leaves participants with a much clearer understanding of their own capabilities.  This certificate will be offered free of charge to un- or underemployed residents of Indiana through June 2009.

Manufacturing Readiness Certificate
The MRC course is a three day introduction to the world of life science manufacturing and includes a live product manufacturing simulation under FDA regulated guidelines, as well as introductions to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.  This certificate will be offered free of charge to un- or underemployed residents of Indiana through June 2009.

Biomanufacturing and Medical Device Manufacturing Technician Certificate (BMTC)
The BMTC is an introductory certificate program that covers the basics of Biomanufacturing and Medical Device manufacturing industry principles.  It introduces students to the major local biotechnology companies and their manufacturing specifics .  Students earn three college credits in addition to the certificate.  This certificate will be offered free of charge to un- or underemployed residents of Indiana through June 2009.

Regulatory Affairs Technician Certificate
The RATC is a broad introduction to the field of regulatory affairs in biotechnology.  Students earn three college credits in addition to the certificate.

Applied Associates Degree in Advanced Manufacturing
The associate of applied science degree in Advanced Manufacturing will prepare students for the modern manufacturing environment with 32 credit hours in technical core courses and 12 credit hours in one of three areas of emphasis – Manufacturing Design, Production Technology, or Manufacturing Operations. An MSSC certification is available to all students in the Advanced Manufacturing program, with successful completion of the MSSC Certified Production Technician certification exam.

Careers in the Advanced Manufacturing field include: Robotics Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Manufacturing Engineer Technician, Quality Technician, and Production Supervisor.

Applied Associates Degree in Biotechnology
This degree will prepare students for entry level technician positions  in the biotech industry.  Graduates from the program have been working in areas including: Quality  Control Microbiology and Chemistry Labs, Biomanufacturing Process Operations (support, upstream and downstream),  and Research and Development Labs.

Associates Degree in Biotechnology
This degree will prepare students to transfer into a bachelor’s program in a four year institution.  Direct transfer to Indiana University is available.

This degree will prepare students for the entry level positions  in regulatory affairs within the biotech industry.
